I am seeing cursor small is missing from the models list. And I can not select any other model apart from Sonnet 4 in quick edit dropdown.
I usually use the cursor small to make small edits in my code because using other models will cause a credit or two.
Does anyone else is also facing this issue? If yes then has anyone found any solution for this? There are no updates available in the cursor.
I don’t have it either, but I never used it so I don’t know if it was recently removed. Using something like GPT-5-mini might be a good alternative. It is free from my experience (shows on billing but doesn’t count towards monthly usage).
gpt5 mini is also good but Quick Edit is not allowing me to select any other model apart from Sonnet 4 even I have enabled gpt 5 mini and other models. I can only select other models in the chat dropdown.
Hey, thanks for the report. You’re right, that model was removed from the list because it’s considered deprecated.
Regarding the model selector: Cmd+K currently only shows non-thinking models, so the selection may be limited. You can enable more models in Cursor settings to expand the available options.
