There are related issues being reported in the last 24 hours. Seems like it could be a bug in Cursor sqlite usage for this store.

Hey, thanks for the detailed report. It’s especially helpful that you tracked it down to state.vscdb as the cause. There are actually two issues here: state.vscdb grows to a huge size 11,4 GB plus a 10,7 GB backup is definitely not normal. Other users are seeing the same thing: Cursor state.vscdb growing at 1 GB in a day. Where does the bug appear (feature/product)? Cursor IDE Describe the Bug Cursor is taking almost 30 GB on my disk, and it seems most of the space is used by the state.db and state.db backup. This seems not normal. Is it safe to delete it?
