Yesterday when I was using Cursor and asked it a question, it would analyze all my files (it would show this happening visually). Today, when I ask it questions with Claude, it doesn’t analyze the files.
I will even ask it things such as ‘what is the first line in xyz file’, and it will say that it can’t read other files.
What gives?
Do you maybe have “Default No Context” turned on in Cursor Settings? You can check under Cursor Settings > Features > Chat. If not, could you send a screenshot of the chat? Thanks!
Thanks for sharing that solution. Also, I found that to search the codebase, I press the command + enter. To just chat without searching the codebase, I press enter.
