Cursor Stops Mid-Completion and Hangs

Mine is stuck on generating, nothing i tried fixed it but every try is eating my requests…

I am also getting the infinitely spinning generating issue. Here are the request ID’s where this happens:

I just updated to 0.47.5, and am still getting the same problem where it sticks on “Generating…”

Same, generating and then just stops after a few minutes…

There is waiting for the Anthropic API, which Cursor has no control over.

But then there is Cursor the application, which hangs and snags, and randomly closes with random errors. This is on a new Macbook Pro with M4 chip on the latest update.

It’s unbearable. It’s like using Photoshop in 2002 on a Windows machine.

Please Cursor fix it otherwise mostly I’m very impressed.

I think it starts hanging after the chat gets too long, the chat functionality hangs the whole Cursor app for few seconds and then works. Even typing the message is lagging often.

Same issue here … I think ive lost over 25x Claude-3.7-Sonnet-Thinking request … But never got any answer from the AI … I can see I got charge those request in my Cursor User Panel … it sux foreal …

Got the same, in the stable version as well as the beta 0.47.5… even removed the settings just to move along…
