It has a bit of a rude tone and missing details such as session ID and you did not say to which model did Cursor switch to and what were the steps. Overall you should do your maximum with your issue report in order to get help, and a lesser “demanding” tone would certainly help

On the screenshot I provided and then commented that I did not select “Composer 2.5 Fast”. IDE switched to that model without my permission.
What you’re seeing is Cursor’s usage-limit fallback, not a random or unauthorized change. When an account reaches its usage limit for premium models, Cursor temporarily switches the active chat to the included Composer 2.5 model so you can keep working without getting blocked. With Auto off and a model manually selected, that fallback still applies to the current chat, which is why it looks like the model changed on its own.
In the meantime:
Re-open the model picker and select your preferred model again. The fallback only affects the current chat, so new chats keep your global selection.
This fallback kicks in when premium-model usage is used up, so it can reappear on new chats until your usage frees up (it resets monthly, and you can check usage anytime at cursor.com/dashboard).
