Bug Report: Cursor Tab Becoming Unresponsive After Updates

Clear description of the bug:
After each Cursor version update, the Cursor Tab feature frequently becomes unresponsive. The tab works for one or two interactions, then stops responding completely. This happens consistently with each new version update.

Steps to reproduce the bug:

  1. Update Cursor to a new version
  2. Use Cursor Tab feature initially (works for 1-2 interactions)
  3. Continue attempting to use Cursor Tab
  4. Observe that the tab stops responding completely

Attempted troubleshooting:

  • Re-logged into Cursor
  • Re-indexed the codebase
  • Restarted the application

None of these solutions resolved the issue permanently. The tab only works for 1-2 interactions after troubleshooting, then becomes unresponsive again.

Operating system and Cursor version:
Windows 10.0.19045

Impact:
This issue prevents me from using the Cursor Tab feature effectively, which significantly reduces my productivity and the usefulness of the application.
