Hi all, we recently released our own extension for WSL, anysphere.remote-wsl. If you are running into issues with ms-vscode-remote.remote-wsl, I would recommend switching to this one. The downloads should be much faster as it will first attempt to download inside WSL, falling back to a client-side download only if that fails.
