Cursor terminal not loading

hey I’m not able to use terminal inside cursor looks like it takes infinite time loading. I am attaching a picture of same

Hey, thanks for the report. I can see in the screenshot that the Terminal panel is stuck loading. This is a known symptom on macOS when the extension host fails to start properly, and then Terminal, Source Control, and Extensions don’t load.

Try these in order:

  1. Fully kill all Cursor processes via Activity Monitor, not just Cmd+Q, then launch Cursor again.
  2. If that doesn’t help, run Cmd+Shift+P then Developer: Reload Window.
  3. If it’s still stuck, close Cursor, delete the cache folder ~/Library/Application Support/Cursor/Cache, then launch again.

We’re already tracking this issue, but we don’t have an exact fix timeline yet. To link your case, please share your Cursor version from Cursor > About Cursor and your macOS version. Let me know which step, if any, helped.
