Describe the Bug
It was working fine until yesterday, but suddenly today it started throwing the error mentioned in the title. This issue occurs with a specific repository.
I’ve tried several solutions: disabling all extensions, using Extension Bisect, reinstalling Cursor, and clearing the cache, but nothing has worked. I tried using VS Code instead, and it worked fine, so I suspect it’s a problem with Cursor.
It’s not just that I can’t use extensions— the version control tab isn’t working either. Now, my Cursor behaves as if it’s not in a git folder. I’m unable to work with Cursor at all.
If I can’t fix this, I’ll have no choice but to unsubscribe.
How can I fix this? What information should I provide? There’s nothing in the debug console either. Please help me. Thank you
