The cursor’s ssh remote keeps disconnecting every few minutes, driving me crazy

Steps to Reproduce

My server has port 22, which is forwarded to the public IP of my router. I ssh to this public IP and port. However, every few minutes, my ssh connection is disconnected

Hi @curs0r – thanks for sharing this issue and your logs. From the logs, I see:

Connection to <redacted ip> closed by remote host.
Transferred: sent 298948, received 704076 bytes, in 265.3 seconds

This likely means that the network connection dropped. I do see that the connection automatically reestablished. I’d recommend switching to SSH key authentication (if possible), so you don’t have to enter your password every time this happens.

Thanks so much, I fixed it, could you please delete the debug.txt file and hide your reply? It exposed my IP. :face_with_crossed_out_eyes:
