I tried installing cursor 6 months ago, and now I want to try again, but the same problem persists.
The custom model adding interface is very poorly designed, or perhaps it’s intentionally designed this way to prevent us from adding models. I’m a programmer, but am I the one who’s at fault, or am I unable to use this interface?
I opened the settings.
I went to the Models page.
I typed GLM-5.1 and searched.
It didn’t appear in the list, but it says “add custom model,” great.
I clicked “add custom model,” and the name of the model I was looking for automatically appeared, and there were add/cancel buttons, fantastic.
I pressed the add button, but nothing happened; only the line that opened for adding a custom model disappeared.
Okay, let me search the list again, maybe it added it. No, it didn’t.
Is there an error message? No.
Let me try again, maybe I made a mistake. Despite trying many times, it always gives the same unresponsiveness.
Let’s go to the cursor help page, maybe I’m using it incorrectly. I asked the agent, and it describes the same steps I’m taking.
I checked the forum and saw that others had the same problem before; someone solved it by pressing Enter instead of the Add button. That didn’t work for me either.
Please let me know if this feature actually works. If it still hasn’t worked after 6 months, showing it as if it exists is a waste of our time. In that case, you should remove this feature.
