Debug mode fails to recognize new debug logs and keeps running in circles

Where does the bug appear (feature/product)?

Cursor IDE

Describe the Bug

After I click the Proceed button in the debug mode, the agent always generates the message that "The new log is still flagged runId: pre-fix and contains the old behavior, so the post-fix code was not reloaded and the log wasn’t reset. To get real post-fix evidence we must start with a clean log and restart the backend. "

This issue persists even after I delete the debug.log file.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Enter a prompt in the debug mode and let the agent do its stuff.
  2. Click Proceed after the agent generates solutions for the bug.
  3. The old debug log issue then appears.
  4. Delete the debug log file and click Proceed again.
  5. The agent starts running in circles.

Expected Behavior

The agent should be able to recognize new debug logs and not treat them as old ones.
