Just wanted to ask this as well. Can we adjust the temperature?
I don’t think they’ll allow us to customise the models core params yet. Even if they do I think it should be hidden in some advance settings so non-technical users don’t play around and then complain about hallucinations lol

DeepSeek’s recommendations are one size fits all, Cursor integration is a very specific use case so I’d assume the team used trial and error to choose what works best.
I do agree it would be nice to have some advanced model settings hidden somewhere. e.g. to experiment with higher temperature during brainstorming/planning.
Using a DeepSeek extension might be an alternative (that also doesn’t impact your subscription usage.)
There’s a lot of others, but this one seems quite good.
(To use in Cursor you’ll need to download the .VSIX file using Visual Studio Code first)
