The Anysphere Dev Containers extension doesn’t support dotfiles like the original extension.

Hi @penor, thank you for this feature request. We are looking at how we can support this feature. In the meantime, I’d recommend setting up the dotfiles manually after opening the container.

Hi @penor and @CK-iRonin.IT, thank you for your patience as we worked through this issue. We just released version 1.0.14 of the Anysphere Remote Containeres extension, which supports the dotfile integration. Could you try upgrading to the latest version of the extension?
