Do we have a branching like feature?

Feature request for product/service

Cursor IDE

Describe the request

I often run into a workflow issue when asking Cursor to help me identify areas for refactoring or improvement. For example, it might point out problems A / B / C, each of which requires a lot of context and may lead in different directions.

The problem is that when I dive deeply into fixing A, a lot of context is consumed. Later, when I try to return to B or C, the conversation context becomes blurry or incomplete. It feels difficult to resume those threads cleanly.

So I’m wondering do we have a feature similar to branching — allowing me to pick a point in the conversation and “branch off” into a new thread while preserving the context from that moment. This would make it much easier to explore multiple solutions or tasks independently without losing clarity.

Operating System (if it applies)

MacOS

Aha, I found a way to do it: it has a feature called “duplicate chat” (click “…” of an answer), it does exactly what I wanted.
