Doesnt Obey Rules and then Uses lots of tokens

Where does the bug appear (feature/product)?

Cursor IDE

Describe the Bug

My curosor agaent has a rule application level do not search, i do not want it leaving my folder unless directly given permision too. If it cant find something in a project it goes hunting.

This is a security Risk, client files and projects are kept elsewhere for security. This morning it couldnt find a file in my project, i walked away from the terminal to let it make a minor change, it scanend every file on my machine and used my entire months tokenage. I should not have to tell it not to leave the project folder, its a profect folder. It should stay in its folder!

Steps to Reproduce

Ask it to do soemthing it cant find in the folder

Expected Behavior

To say thats not in here. Is this the right window?

Windows 10/11

Does this stop you from using Cursor

Sometimes - I can sometimes use Cursor

Hi @migraine234565767!

It sounds like you want to set Read Access to Workspace in your Cursor Settings
