Editor crash end of every request

Hey, thanks for the report. This sounds like a known crash issue in the 2.2.x builds on macOS. A couple quick questions to help narrow it down:

  1. What Cursor version are you on? (Help > About Cursor > Copy)
  2. Does it crash for any request, or only for a specific kind of request?

In the meantime, please try this:

If you’re below 2.2.43: update to the latest version. The team has been patching memory leaks and stability issues in recent releases.

If it still happens:

  1. Check your tabs setting: Cmd+, > search for workbench.editor.showTabs > make sure it’s set to multiple (not single). This is a known cause of crashes during AI edits.
  2. Run without extensions:
cursor --disable-extensions
  1. If that helps, find the extension causing it: Cmd+Shift+P > Developer: Open Extension Monitor
