I am probably not the only one out there, but I find myself spending a decent amount of time going back and forth between Graphite and Cursor to resolve BugBot comments. I would like to rely more and more on autofix, but some bugs still require some decent level of human guidance, especially to keep the solution simple enough or to clarify bugbot’s assumptions.
Currently, there is an option to select which bug severities are going to be addressed by autofix, but I don’t think there is a correlation between the severity of a bug and the amount of human guidance required to fix it. A high severity bug might be a straightforward one-line change, while a low severity bug might require a full plan mode to resolve. So I feel that there should be another dimension to rank bugs, which would be the expected complexity of the fix. With that, I’d be confident to let auto-fix handle low or hopefully medium complexity bugs. For the higer complexity, it would be quite nice to be able to interact with BugBot directly on the comment thread, entering some sort of mini plan mode there.
Note that I have made an unsuccessful attempt to implement this using cursor automations.
