Everyone, sorry for the delay in a post on this.
Unfortunately, over the last couple days, we’ve seen a high volume of abuse coming from temporary email addresses that got to the point where it was affecting our services for normal paid users.
We’ve had to mitigate this by blocking the most common domains used for this abuse. In the near future, we do plan to block all temporary domains from accessing Cursor services and also have further systems in the works to detect suspicious activity.
While this has been done to protect the majority of our users from a few users trying to exploit our services, we don’t want anyone to be caught in the crossfire.
Therefore, if you have paid for Cursor Pro or Business and are unable to access your subscription due to this block, please drop me a DM and I’ll get you sorted out immediately with a refund so you can get set up with a new account on a non-temporary domain.
I apologize for any disruption this may have caused, but it was a necessary measure to ensure Cursor remains stable for the majority of our users.
