These 3 MCP servers break ability for auto model to have access to all tools. For example it has 0 clue about MongoDB find tool existence.
A workaround solution for this is to use MCP proxies (like mcpproxy), but this is not ideal, as whitelisting tool calls doesn’t work in that case.
Normally, Cursor should have the same flow locally (a fast local model that allows searching for a specific tool instead of exposing limited amount of tools to the context). It is not normal that 3 MCP servers are already breaking Cursor’s ability.
This is especially annoying given the recent announcement of the Cursor MCP directory and the in-chat recommendations to “install” MCP servers directly. (What’s the point of adding MCP servers to Cursor if even 2 servers can break tool discovery?)
