Description

Context Tags turns your work on a feature into a reusable context tag.

Run “Create Tag” and it reads your git changes, records exactly which lines changed and which function or class each change belongs to, and saves it as a named tag. Changes that only touch imports are skipped.

When you come back to the feature, attach the tag in chat. The agent goes straight to the relevant code instead of searching the whole repo or re-reading entire files. As the work continues, run “Update Tag” to refresh it.

How it helps:

  • Pick up a feature in a new chat without explaining it again
  • agent’s context stays focused on your feature makes weak models complete tasks
  • Tags are plain JSON files in .cursor/tags, so Cursor and other AI agents can read them

Hi @lironco1, almost there. Your namespace ownership verification and the context-tags.dev domain both look good, but the Open VSX listing for Context Tags still has its homepage set to the GitHub repo. For the checkmark, the listing’s homepage needs to point to your website.

To fix it, set "homepage": "https://context-tags.dev" in your package.json and publish a new version so Open VSX picks it up. Also make sure the Download Plugin button on the site links to Open VSX Registry.

Reply here once the new version is live and we’ll take another look.

All set

Hi @lironco1, we have added the verification checkmark to LironCohen, so Context Tags should show it in the marketplace shortly!
