I think there is a bug, I try to do something using agent and the process is stuck in a loop that say on every try “Edit attempted - Failed to find context” and it takes few minutes until this “loop” of error it end and finally do what I asked for…this consume my pro plan usage too I think…

Expected Behavior

It should finish faster…my prompt was a simple one not something complex but as you can see in screenshot there is a bug for sure

No - Cursor works, but with this issue

Hey, thanks for the report. I see the screenshot, this is a known issue where the agent can’t match the file context with the patch and gets stuck retrying.

The team is aware, but we don’t have a specific ETA yet.

For debugging, can you share the Request ID from the chat where this happened? Top right of the chat > menu > Copy Request ID. This will help us understand why loop detection isn’t triggering.

As a workaround, try switching the model from Auto to a specific one and see if it behaves better.
