Describe the Bug

I have a repo for which the environment stopped working. New agents fail with:

We couldn’t start the agent’s computer, please help us set it up again
No personal or team snapshot is currently saved for this repo. Open Setup and save a snapshot, > then retry.

I tried to recreate the environment going through the web flow. The agent to create the environment succeeds but clicking on the button to save the environment errors out with:

Failed to save: 500

Steps to Reproduce

1. Start the Development Environment Setup flow.
2. Press “Save to Team” or “Save to Personal”

Expected Behavior

Environment saved without errors and usable by agents.

I managed to unblock myself by deleting the Cursor Web Agent environments for that repo. I still cannot save a new environment, but I can start new web agents.

Hey, this is a known issue. Right now, Save Environment for Cloud Agents is failing with a 500 error for many users. The team is aware, and your report helps us prioritize it.

Good catch on the workaround of deleting environments. That does let you run agents while Save Environment is still broken.

I’ll post an update here once there’s a fix. Let me know if the workaround stops working.
