My Cursor token was leaked, resulting in unauthorized quota consumption and unexpected charges.
Current system only verifies token validity. Once stolen, attackers can use it freely.
There is no check for abnormal IP, geo-location, unusual usage hours or sudden usage spikes, with no alerts or blocking.
Suggest adding layered risk controls for token requests:
• Unfamiliar IP/region detection
• Abnormal time usage detection
• Alert/limit for sudden large consumption
Users try to secure tokens, but leaks still happen. Basic anomaly checks can limit losses and protect users from unexpected charges.
