Hi,
Cursor’s AI can already generate images from descriptions, but there’s no support for generating video. It would be great to add video generation as a capability, for example:
Use cases: Product demos, tutorial or step-by-step animations, UI motion previews, short promo clips, etc.
Form: Could be “text/script → short video” or “keyframes/images → in-between frames/video”; implementation details are up to you.
Relation to existing features: This could sit alongside the existing image generation as an optional capability, or as an extended Pro/Pro+ feature, to help manage cost and abuse.
That way, beyond drawing and writing code, users could produce light-weight video content directly in the editor, which would be very useful for content creators and product showcases.
