I often find that when I am using an agent in plan mode, the agent often asks too few questions for my liking. When reading the plan or the thinking steps, I find that the model is reasoning to itself about things it is confused about or things it should check in with the user about, but never figures it out or confirms the answer with me, and just makes a guess. If there was a way to tune how prone planning agents are to ask questions to the user in chat, it would greatly aid my planning workflows. I often find myself including in prompts “I love questions, please ask me anything you would like clarification on” in order to get the level of questions I want. I also fully expect that some people find some models ask too MANY questions, and would like to be able to tune the behavior in the other direction.
