I would like to request the addition of a minimap feature for the chat/agents window in Cursor IDE.
Currently, when having long conversations with the AI agent, navigating through the chat history requires extensive scrolling, which can be time-consuming and inefficient.
The code editor already has a minimap that allows quick navigation by clicking on it. It would be very helpful to have a similar minimap feature for the chat window, enabling users to:
- Quickly jump to different parts of the conversation
- Get a visual overview of the entire chat history
- Navigate more efficiently without having to scroll through hundreds of messages
This would significantly improve the user experience, especially during long debugging sessions or when reviewing previous parts of a conversation.
