Feature Request: Native Supabase Integration (like Lovable's) for a Full-Stack Workflow

Hello Cursor team and community,

I’m a huge fan of Cursor and how it accelerates my workflow. I’m writing today with a suggestion that I believe could solidify Cursor as the definitive tool for modern development: a deep, native integration with Supabase.

This isn’t just a theoretical idea. We’re already seeing the power of this approach in tools like Lovable.dev, which does a fantastic job of connecting directly to Supabase to generate UI. The way it reads the database schema to create data-aware components feels like the kind of magic that saves countless hours.

Now, imagine that same level of data awareness, but applied to Cursor’s full code generation and editing capabilities. It would be a quantum leap. The AI would have a complete understanding of our data architecture, allowing it to generate accurate supabase-js queries, complex RLS policies, and even keep TypeScript types in sync with the database, all automatically and precisely.

This would be a workflow game-changer. Instead of a code editor with AI, Cursor would become a true, backend-aware integrated development environment, merging the speed of Supabase with the intelligence of Cursor. This would be the killer feature that puts Cursor ahead of any other tool.

Thanks for considering the suggestion and for all the amazing work you do!
