Is there a specific reason why the “Review Next File” button was moved to the top-right corner? It used to be centered at the bottom, which felt way more intuitive and accessible. Now it feels out of reach and disrupts the review flow. The previous layout was much better for productivity.
I totally agree!
This really does break the review flow and also forces me to jump my eye around my screen larger distances, which causes eye strain.
This UX also splits the per-file “keep file” and “undo file” flow and the more general “keep all” and “reject all” flow. keep/reject all is in the chat panel, right above the chat input box. Before, all of these things were unified in 1 place. Why are they split?
Can you at least make it an option we can toggle if people prefer the previous UI where the review flow was floating centered near the bottom?
+1 on this. Why break something that worked?
Please at least give us an option to select it’s position
WTH - I have to relearn the IDE today? Does the cursor team understand backward compatibility? I was so happy and productive. Just what we all need; a designer who knows best.
+1 on this
I came here looking for the setting to restore the floating menu because I thought I accidentally killed it with a shortcut key. So bummed if it’s gone. ![]()
I had the same problem and, by reading this discussion forum, I found the solution as follows: I checked the AI agents’ history where the Undo and Keep buttons were still active. I identified the agent that had this file open for editing, selected the option I needed, and the file became “unlocked” ![]()
I am also in favor of restoring the button to its central position, which is much more visible and productive.
Maybe I’m wrong, but this only happens in the agent layout. At first I was surprised when I found it in the corner, but then I discovered that I had accidentally switched to the agent layout - and when I returned to normal, the editor layout, the button was back in its normal place.
