Hey all,
Feature request for the Cursor IDE sidebar (Workspaces).
I keep a lot of workspaces in the left sidebar (around 30). A few are active at once, and each of those has 2–3 Cloud Agents under it. Finding one means scrolling a long mixed list of folders and agent rows. Same names show up twice (workspace folder + agent), so visual search is slow and I lose my place.
What already exists, and why it doesn’t cover this:
Open Workspace Text search over workspace names, which is what I want. The result doesn’t reveal that row in the sidebar though. It opens a new chat. I already have agents running in that workspace. I need to land on the existing sidebar entry so I can see those agents, not start another session.
Ctrl/Cmd+K (command palette) Useful as a global jump. It mixes workspaces with other targets, and ranking looks semantic / fuzzy rather than a simple name match. For “take me to this workspace in the list,” the order isn’t reliable.
What I want:
A local, lexical filter on the Workspaces list. Type a substring, only matching workspace names remain, agents under those workspaces stay visible, selection doesn’t spawn a new chat.
UX: a magnifying glass in the Workspaces header, next to Open Workspace and Customize. Click (or a shortcut scoped to the list) focuses a filter field. Clearing it restores the full list. No navigation, no new chat.
