It went on for almost 24+ hours so i deep dived into cursor support messages and found this thread
Took out my screenshot and it connected back again, no problem. Even though I had been using screenshots and picture files for my whole hour + session before first encountering that problem
I’m expereincing this now. It was working 10 mins ago and but it’s now started saying this and won’t say anything else. I shutdown the app entirely (not just the window) but no differnce. I’ll try restarting the mac…

Magically, as soon as I posted this it all started working again. It may have been that I pressed the “Try again” button that I only noticed after posting the screenshot as it was too small to see in the cursor IDE …who knows…
