Feature request for product/service
3rd Party Extensions
Describe the request
I rely on SFTP/Server-sync extensions that use “uploadOnSave” or “watchers” to push code to a live server. Currently, when the Agent finishes a task and I click “Accept” or “Keep All”, the changes are applied to the editor, but the file remains in a “dirty” (unsaved) state.
Even with Files: Auto Save set to afterDelay, there is a disconnect where extensions do not detect a physical disk-write event unless I manually press Ctrl + S for every single file.
The Request:
Please add a native toggle or ensure that the “Accept” action in the Agents Window emits a standard Hard Save to Disk event.
Why this matters:
For developers working with remote servers or build-watchers, having to manually save every file after the AI has already finished its job creates significant friction. Automation should be end-to-end.
Proposed Solution:
A setting like Cursor > Composer: Force Save to Disk on Accept would be a game-changer for anyone using external sync tools.
Operating System (if it applies)
Windows 10/11
“Please add Arabic language support to the Voice-to-Text (Dictation) menu in the Composer/Chat window.”
