Forced to update to unstable version

Describe the Bug

I was working on my project just fine today, and the command K started to force me to update by generating the update message instead of the code I needed. That in itself I can understand. So I just updated to the latest version, version 1.1.3, and now the IDE starts to freeze whenever I open the old project. That is really fking helpful to force your user to update to an unstable version.

Steps to Reproduce

Have a project, not small I guess. Update to the latest version. And boom
