Is the promo just for one month or for as long as you have a SuperGrok heavy sub? The Cursor docs suggest it’s just one month, but this banner seems to suggest you keep it for as long as you have a SuperGrok Heavy sub active.
I also want to know about this. I’m hopeful it’s $300 for Both supergrok heavy and cursor indefinitely + subsidized API usage.
Hey, thanks for the report. You’re right, there is a mismatch, and it’s on our side, not in how you’re reading the terms.
What’s shown on the banner is the correct info. Cursor Ultra stays active as long as your SuperGrok Heavy subscription is active. The one month wording on the help page was for the original launch terms and is now outdated. We’ll update that page to match.
So you can rely on the banner. If anything still looks off after you claim it, let me know here.
So, for $300, we can get the features and quota of Super Grok Heavy + the features and quota of Cursor Ultra? ![]()
As others already mentioned in the thread: if you have an active SuperGrok Heavy subscription, your Cursor Ultra access stays active the whole time your Heavy subscription is active, as shown in the banner. Please follow the banner, the one month text on the help page is outdated and we’ll fix it.
For SuperGrok Heavy terms and pricing, that’s handled by xAI, so please check their page for the latest details.
If anything looks off after you activate it, post here.
To be honest, it’s amazing how you manage to make already best service even better almost every month
I hate to be the one to ask but I see all the comments from legacy users and I’ve interacted with one or two of them… The point I would like clarification on is will the same happen to Users selecting to sign-up for this offer? What are the terms that protect the User without reading the full EULA or T’s and C’s? Does Cursor insure this is for a minimum period, ie when the going gets heavy are Cursor going to back track on it and palm those Users off on to some lesser regime with usage caps and loss of access? Legitimate concerns @deanrie. Will this also include access to future models or be locked in to certain models?
Hey @MrCheese, good call. What you see in the banner is the offer’s actual intent, and the docs confirm it word for word: “The subscription remains active at no charge so long as the SuperGrok Heavy plan is active on renewal.” That means Ultra stays active only as long as your Heavy subscription stays active. Just note this is an individual promo, team accounts aren’t eligible. The rest of the terms like eligibility and what’s included are on Get access with SuperGrok Heavy | Cursor Docs. For Heavy itself, xAI controls those terms, so I won’t promise anything beyond what’s published.
