For the past few days, I’ve been frequently encountering the “Unable to reach Anthropic” error on Cursor. This happens repeatedly, making it frustrating and nearly unusable for me.
Whenever Cursor shows this error, I immediately test other competitor IDE (using Sonnet), and it works without any issues. This means the problem is not with Anthropic but specifically with how Cursor is handling requests.
• This issue is making Cursor unreliable for me.
• Since other IDE consistently works, I find myself switching to it more often.
• If this isn’t fixed soon, Cursor will become useless for my workflow.
Please investigate and provide a solution. This is a major blocker, and I need Cursor to work as expected.
