I feel like its actually so much better than o3mini-high and sonnet 3.5 its insane. It has native tool calling capacities as well, why doesnt it get supported agent mode yet?

you could try using it for planning on chat and then using composer with sonnet 3.5
You are thinking wrong, pricing is mentioned in their official sites, gemini 2.0 pro is cheaper. What you proposed is also a cheap alternative that shouldnt suit cursor at all tbh.
And yes, sonnet dropped to the 9th rank in coding in llms at various benchmarks. Gemini 2.0 pro tops them all. In my personal experience as well.

gemini is faster and well-trained but when you have to write practical code it still doesnt compare to sonnet in my experience
