Anybody else using Gemini 3 Pro in CLI? For me, it regularly stops in the middle of tasks and it doesn’t auto compact. I just left a task running for about 20 minutes and came back to 15 dollars in spend due to it not auto compacting and sending 100% context every time. It was just syntax fixing.
I haven’t used the cli but have generally just found Gemini 3 to be unusable for pretty much anything. My go to has been gpt 5.1 for a long time but that just got removed with the last update.
Rare for my self to use Gemini 3 Pro, there are a lot of case that Gemini 3 Pro, even in Cursor give better result. Prefer using Gemini 3 Flash.
Also, Gemini CLI its still a lot of lack feature if we compare into Opencode or CC CLI
