Want to give credit where credit is due: the Plan mode in the latest cursor nightly is absolutely fantastically well made. It’s easy to see the team added plenty of guardrails to avoid hallucination and strict plan following (and building).
Two comments: I’d love control over the coding model (shifts to auto, which I can understand and I’m ok with letting cursor decide, you guys have more metrics than me on edit performance and plan adherence); I would LOVE to see the instructions on plan mode. I’ve not checked any of the dot folders but I assume it’s pulled from the server. I don’t know if you can share - and that’s ok if it’s proprietary - but I’d love to see it.
Great job though, you guys are fighting the current of the big providers and looking like Michael Phelps (before retirement, obviously)
