Why did it stopped working? I could only use it for 1 day.
May I know when can we get glm-5.3 or 5.3 flash back to cursor?

Hey @Andreul369, GLM-5.3 and 5.3 Flash have never been built-in Cursor models (the native GLM is 5.2). What you used was a custom model on your own API key, so “model not found” is coming back from your provider, not Cursor.
To restore it in Cursor Settings → Models:
- Re-enter your provider key under API Keys (OpenAI field) and turn it on.
- Set Override OpenAI Base URL to match your key: Z.ai Coding Plan
https://api.z.ai/api/coding/paas/v4, or pay-per-token Z.aihttps://api.z.ai/api/paas/v4. Wrong endpoint for your key type returns “model not found”. - Add the custom model with the exact case-sensitive ID:
glm-5.3orglm-5.3-flash(OpenRouter:z-ai/glm-5.3-flash). - Check your plan/credits are still active on the provider’s side (a lapsed plan also returns “model not found”).
Native GLM 5.3 is a tracked request with no date to share, but you can vote here: New model request GLM-5.3
Oh my god, the “Use OpenAI API Key” radio button was turned off for some reason. I tried capslock, no caps, open router, z.ai api key. ![]()
Sorry
