Yes, I would like to add this feature.
This was one of my first MCP requests.
The project based config files are a nice improvement, but MCP servers that install other servers and platforms like Smithery etc. expect a .json file to write to.
Manually adding them individually is really clunky, especially when users already have the server working in another client and could simply copy/paste…
