I’m a regular user of VSCode and I just switched to Cursor. I’m not used to using Keyboard shortcuts to go back to the previous file after navigating to the function definition, rather I use the “Go Back” arrows and “Go Forward” arrows like those on the browser on the top left in VSCode.
It would be great if Cursor could replicate the same.

Just went through this so let me answer this properly
Right click just to the left of the Workspace Search bar on the top header.
Click “Command Center” to turn it on (see the check mark appear next to it)
Also click “Navigation Controls” to turn it on (see the check mark appear next to it)
You need both of those to see the back and forward arrows.
The “Layout Controls” actually shows/hide the buttons all the way on the right of the header which control what panels are visible (Project Explorer, Terminal and Chat), including the Settings Gear Button.

Wow this should be on by default. I almost posted a comment similar to this. Just started using Cursor myself and I love it.
