i am new at Cursor. does the AI code generator help in Golang codes

Yep, Go works great. All AI features Agent, Chat, Cursor Tab autocomplete, and Inline Edit are language-agnostic, and the models Cursor uses handle Go well. They can generate, refactor, explain, and debug code across your whole project.
For full language tooling like go-to-definition, diagnostics, debugging, and running tests via gopls, install the Go extension from the marketplace inside Cursor, plus the Go toolchain on your machine. The AI features work without this, the extension just adds the usual IDE features.
On the Free plan, you can try everything within the limits. Just open a Go project and start. If anything doesn’t work, post here.
