GPT-3.5 is getting dumber and dumber

HI.

Since I started using Cursor, I have been using GPT3.5. Initially, GPT3.5 was very smart and helped me a lot. However, as Cursor versions have been updated, I found that GPT3.5 has become less intelligent. I had to switch to GPT4.0, but it only allows 500 uses per month. I’m not sure why, but as the Cursor version increases, GPT3.5 seems to become less intelligent.

In the current version, GPT-3.5 is no longer able to help me with many things, which was possible in previous versions. Now, I can only use GPT-4.0 to accomplish these tasks.

Of course, GPT4 has always been way superior, don’t even start using 3.5 in the first place.

This has nothing to do with the software itself, the software is just calling the api, the replies are entirely provided by OpenAI.

It doesn’t allow only 500 uses. You can use as many as you need. It just that request might get queue during high usage (which I have experience once last month).

Just use GPT4

I have encountered the same issue. However, GPT-4 is sometimes too slow. When I need to handle some simple and quick tasks, I need GPT-3.5.
