I still haven’t decided to switch to GPT-5.5.
Over the last 30 days, my usage has been input 91.5% and output 8.5%. OpenAI’s pricing plan change has literally doubled the model’s cost, even though I’m already completely satisfied with GPT-5.4 and don’t think there was a phase transition between 5.4 and 5.5.
5.4 Mini is useless because it is worse and more expensive than Composer 2
I offen use GPT-5.1 as a “cheap model better than Composer 2” for simple but important tasks and use GPT-5.3 Codex for middle-level coding.
