It would be a good idea to start implementing grok into the cursor app from the looks grok 2 is already very capable comperable to sonnet and grok 3 is around the corner also from the looks of it the grok 3 will be top 1 when it comes out
This might be a dumb Q, as I havent used or even really looked into grok much (I dont X, bro)…
But does grok have some ma=gic hook to the X (twitter) firehose – meaning is it particularly conencted to twitter content in a way that other AIs are 3rd class?
(When I interviewed at twitter in ~2009 or so they asked me what I thought twitter was and I told them that they didnt realize it, but it is a global senitment engine… They hated that response, but I turned out to be correct-- just like when i interviewed at google, they asked me what I thought google was - and I told them “Youre the most advanced advertising firm” Also hated answer, but it was correct)
Point being - would Grok be uniquely suited to build tweet based apps with if it has some special insight into the firehose?
I second this, Grok is already providing some really good solutions, integrating it into Cursor would be a real asset.
Hey, we’re always looking for new models to add to Cursor and are always evaluating models that pop up like this.
As soon as a model seems to perform either on par or better than any of the other models we have, we’ll be sure to add it within Cursor!
Curious to know if @anon-9002714 had had talks with ai model providers that clearly have vast engineering groups, what they would do to I tegrte cursor into their internal workflows with their models and see what improvements to any cursor workflow driven with their models they could make to ones UX…
Seems like one thing for the community developer role to work on…
(Taking challenge this weekend btw - need to chat with @truell20 first)
