I would like a way for cursor automations to be able to trigger other cursor automation. The idea is to be able to split the responsibility of a single automation into individual automations.
You can chain automations today with webhook triggers. Give the downstream automation a Webhook trigger, which gives you a webhook URL and an auth header. Then have the upstream automation finish by POSTing to that URL (curl works fine), passing whatever the next step needs in the JSON body. A context field in the body is added to the downstream agent’s prompt. Store the auth token as a secret so the upstream agent can read it.
