Having emojis in code-workspace files cause path issues to agents

Cursor issues with monorepo and code-workspace

It’s been really hard for me to tell Cursor how to create files in my monorepo. I’m using turborepo, pnpm workspaces, and vscode workspaces to have a clean organisation of my monorepo. My code-workspace looks like this: { "folders": [ { "name": " root", "path": "." }, { "name": " serverless", "path": "apps/serverless" }, { "name": " web", "path": "apps/web" } ], "settings": {} } When I tell Cursor to create or edit files, …

As explained in this topic, I’ve been facing issues with .code-workspaces files and someone replied telling that the emojis were the cause of that, but the thing is: I like emojis in my workspace names, it makes everything way more clear visually. Is this something you guys could take a look at to make it work?
