I’m using the same account on both the Windows and Mac versions of the operating system. The Mac version works perfectly, but on the Windows version, I keep getting the “bad credential” error every time I try to connect to GitHub. I’ve tried everything I can think of, including re-logging in with my account and removing the Windows credential associated with GitHub from the Credential Manager, but the problem persists.
This issue only started recently, and it used to work without any problems before. If anyone knows the trick to fix this, please let me know.
BTW i have vscode on my windows machine too, it works without any issues to connect github
