Hey everyone! :waving_hand:

I’m Damo from Brisbane, Australia :australia: — excited to join the Cursor community!

I’ve been using Cursor IDE extensively since October 2025 to build:

  • VIBE CMS — A zero-dependency, flat-file social media platform (live at commodorelove.com ALPHA status, not quite tweaked for live site as yet, will take a couple of days, so be gentle!

  • WordPress projects — Elemental Starter Theme, Ellemental Elementor Widgets Suite, and Brandify White Label Admin Theme; (Christmas Magic plugin, adding many wonderful Christmassy things to your WP site, coming to cursorwp.com in the next few days)

  • PROJECT_JOURNAL.md technique — A comprehensive AI context retention system (documented on GitHub)

The upgrade to Cursor IDE 2.0.38 with the Composer model has been transformative — especially the new speech-to-text feature! I’ve documented over 9,800 lines of development history, and Cursor has been instrumental in every step.

I’m here to:

  • Share workflows and tips from real-world development

  • Help troubleshoot (especially WordPress/PHP workflows)

  • Learn from this amazing community

  • Contribute to discussions about AI-assisted development

I’ve actually just applied to be a Cursor Ambassador (fingers crossed! :crossed_fingers:), but regardless, I’m excited to be part of this community and help where I can.
