Hey! Really stupid question but I connected my cursor project to GitHub and I created a repo. The first commit went through as expected but every commit afterwards wont find its way into the repo on GitHub and I’m not sure what to do. moreover I dont want to experiment a lot since I dont want to ■■■■ anything up.
The only difference I can see is that the first commit was origin/main and the next one was main… but not sure if that has to do anything with the issue / problem.
Thanks for your help and answer in advance!
With kind regards
Chris

I actually already did that!
but I did it again… before I used the cursor ai and now I tried it with claude and yeah… I simply overlooked something really really obvious… as expected
remember its intelligent but doesnt assume things, so try as i do and prompt as if you are explaining to a little child: “stage the file, push it to the origin branch we are working on with the message ‘i did it’”
although i still thing ussing cli or the ui to commit is faster and safer

Yes I agree! Sometimes it feels so smart and on point and when that happens you sometimes assume it is capable of more than it is
